Common Uses of Strongstart:
This medicine is a vitamin and mineral combination used to treat or prevent a lack of vitamins or minerals before, during, and after pregnancy and breast-feeding.
How To Use Strongstart:
Use this medicine exactly as directed by your doctor. CHEW THOROUGHLY before swallowing. It is best to take this medicine on an empty stomach. If this medicine causes an upset stomach, take it with a snack or meal. Try to avoid taking this medicine with dairy products. Dairy products may interfere with the absorption of the iron found in this medicine. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature in a tightly closed container, away from heat and light. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do NOT take 2 doses at once.
Strongstart Cautions:
ACCIDENTAL OVERDOSE of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under six. In case of accidental overdose, call a doctor or poison center immediately.
Possible Side Effects of Strongstart:
SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during treatment, include nausea, vomiting, constipation, or diarrhea. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. WHILE YOU ARE TAKING THIS MEDICINE, you may notice darkening of bowel movements. This is normal. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience stomach pain or cramping, or black tarry stools. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
