Common Uses of Sodium Fluoride:
This medicine is a mineral used to help prevent cavities in children. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

How To Use Sodium Fluoride:
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. CHEW THOROUGHLY before swallowing. Calcium (including milk and dairy products), aluminum, and magnesium-containing products (e.g., certain antacids or laxatives) can decrease the absorption of fluoride, thereby decreasing its effectiveness. Take fluoride several hours apart from such products and foods. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature in a tightly-closed container, away from heat and light. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE and you are taking 1 dose daily at bedtime, skip the missed dose. Do not take the dose in the morning or take 2 doses at once.

Sodium Fluoride Cautions:
DO NOT EXCEED THE DOSE RECOMMENDED by your doctor or dentist. CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR or dentist if you notice white, brown, or black spots on the teeth. KEEP THIS MEDICINE OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.

Possible Side Effects of Sodium Fluoride:
NO COMMON SIDE EFFECTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED with the proper use of this medicine. If you notice any unusual effects, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
