Common Uses of Reglan:
This medicine is a gastrointestinal stimulant used to treat nausea, vomiting, heartburn, or prolonged fullness after meals in patients with diabetes. It is also used to treat gastroesophageal reflux and other conditions as determined by your doctor.

How To Use Reglan:
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. TAKE THIS MEDICINE 30 MINUTES before meals unless directed otherwise by your doctor. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature in a tightly-closed container, away from heat and light. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

Reglan Cautions:
If your symptoms do not improve or if they become worse, check with your doctor. THIS MEDICINE MAY CAUSE drowsiness or dizziness. Do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how you react to this medicine. THIS MEDICINE WILL ADD TO THE EFFECTS of other depressants or alcohol. Ask your pharmacist if you have questions about which medicines are depressants. FOR WOMEN: THIS MEDICINE IS EXCRETED IN BREAST MILK. IF YOU ARE OR WILL BE BREAST-FEEDING while you are using this medicine, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.

Possible Side Effects of Reglan:
SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during treatment, include drowsiness, dizziness, restlessness, fatigue, or diarrhea. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience uncontrollable movements of face, eyes, arms, legs, tongue, mouth, or jaw. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
