How To Use Recombivax:This medicine is usually administered as an injection at your doctor's office or a clinic. Ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist any questions that you may have about this medicine. STORE THIS MEDICINE in the refrigerator. Do not freeze.
Recombivax Cautions:FOR THIS MEDICINE TO BE EFFECTIVE, you must complete all doses. It is best to begin the vaccinations 6 months before travel, if possible, if that is the reason for receiving the vaccination. BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW MEDICINE, either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. IT IS UNKNOWN IF THIS DRUG IS EXCRETED in breast milk. IF YOU ARE OR WILL BE BREAST-FEEDING while you are using this medicine, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.
Possible Side Effects of Recombivax:SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during treatment, include pain, swelling, or redness at the injection site; headache; mild fever or sore throat; tiredness; nausea; or diarrhea. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
