Common Uses of Quibron:
This medicine is a bronchodilator and expectorant combination used to treat the symptoms of asthma, chronic bronchitis, and emphysema.

How To Use Quibron:
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. SWALLOW WHOLE. Do not break, crush, or chew before swallowing. IT IS BEST TO TAKE THIS MEDICINE on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after eating. If this medicine upsets your stomach, you may take it with food. Always take this medicine the same way, either with food or on an empty stomach. SPACE YOUR DOSES EVENLY throughout the day. If you have questions about the best time to take it, ask your pharmacist. DRINKING EXTRA FLUIDS while you are taking this medicine is recommended. Check with your doctor or nurse for instructions. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature in a tightly-closed container, away from heat and light. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.

Quibron Cautions:
If your symptoms do not improve within a few days or if they become worse, check with your doctor. AVOID LARGE AMOUNTS OF caffeine-containing foods and beverages, such as coffee, tea, cocoa, cola drinks, and chocolate. DO NOT CHANGE BRANDS OF THIS MEDICINE without checking with your doctor. BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW MEDICINE, either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. BEFORE YOU HAVE ANY MEDICAL OR DENTAL TREATMENTS OR SURGERY, tell the doctor or dentist that you are taking this medicine. IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. If you are or may be pregnant, check with your doctor for instructions on using this medicine during pregnancy.

Possible Side Effects of Quibron:
SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during treatment include nervousness, dizziness, restlessness, trouble sleeping, or nausea. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience stomach pain, headache, rash, diarrhea, fast or irregular heartbeat, muscle twitching, rapid breathing, seizures, black or tarry stools, or vomiting of blood or material that looks like coffee grounds. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
