Common Uses of PanMist:This medicine is a decongestant and expectorant combination used to treat cough and to relieve congestion due to colds, flu, or hay fever. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.
How To Use PanMist:Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. TO HELP THIS MEDICINE LOOSEN CONGESTION, drink a glass of water with each dose unless your doctor directs otherwise. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature, away from heat and light. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE and you are taking it regularly, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do NOT take 2 doses at once.
PanMist Cautions:DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED DOSE without checking with your doctor. DO NOT DRIVE, OPERATE MACHINERY, OR DO ANYTHING ELSE THAT COULD BE DANGEROUS until you know how you react to this medicine. Using this medicine alone, with other medicines, or with alcohol may lessen your ability to drive or to perform other potentially dangerous tasks. BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW MEDICINE either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. DO NOT TAKE DIET OR APPETITE CONTROL MEDICINES while you are taking this medicine without checking with your doctor. IF YOU HAVE TROUBLE SLEEPING, ask your pharmacist or doctor about the best time to take this medicine. Caution should be used in children and the elderly for they may be more sensitive to the effects of this medicine. FOR WOMEN: IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy.
Possible Side Effects of PanMist:SIDE EFFECTS that may occur while taking this medicine include nervousness, dizziness, trouble sleeping, nausea, or headache. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
