Common Uses of Panafil:
This medicine is an enzymatic debriding and anti-inflammatory combination used to treat skin wounds by removing dead tissue, promoting healing, and reducing odor. It may also be used to treat varicose, diabetic, and decubitus ulcers and other conditions as determined by your doctor.

How To Use Panafil:
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. WASH YOUR HANDS immediately before and after using this medicine. DO NOT GET THIS MEDICINE IN YOUR EYES. BEFORE EACH USE OF THIS MEDICINE, clean the affected area with saline or other mild cleansing solution recommended by your doctor or pharmacist. DO NOT USE HYDROGEN PEROXIDE solution on any area being treated with this medicine. APPLY THIS MEDICINE directly to the affected area and cover with a sterile, non-adherent dressing as recommended by your doctor. Check with your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist if you have any questions. CONTINUE TO USE THIS MEDICINE even if your condition improves. Do not miss any doses. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. Keep the container tightly closed. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE, use it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT apply 2 doses at once.

Panafil Cautions:
THIS MEDICINE is for external use only. AVOID GETTING THIS MEDICINE IN YOUR EYES or on the inside of your nose or mouth. IT MAY TAKE SEVERAL WEEKS for this medicine to work. Do not stop using this medicine without checking with your doctor. IF YOUR SYMPTOMS DO NOT IMPROVE or if they become worse, check with your doctor. BEFORE YOU USE ANY OTHER MEDICINES OR SKIN PRODUCTS on the area being treated, check with your doctor or pharmacist. This includes any medicine or products containing hydrogen peroxide or salts of heavy metals (lead, silver, mercury).

Possible Side Effects of Panafil:
A SIDE EFFECT that may occur while using this medicine is temporary burning sensation after application. If it continues or is bothersome, check with your doctor. This medicine may cause a slight green stain on the treated skin, which is not permanent. If you notice other effects not mentioned above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
