Common Uses of Otobiotic:
This medicine is an antibiotic and steroid combination used to treat ear infections.

How To Use Otobiotic:
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. WASH YOUR HANDS before and after using this medicine. TO USE EAR DROPS: lie down or tilt your head so that the affected ear faces up. For adults: gently pull the earlobe up and back to straighten the ear canal. For children: gently pull the earlobe down and back to straighten the ear canal. Drop the medicine into the ear canal. Keep the ear facing up for several minutes so the medicine can run to the bottom of the ear canal. If you have difficulty keeping this medicine in your ear, ask your doctor about using a clean cotton plug in your ear. To prevent germs from entering the medicine, do not touch the applicator to any surface including the ear. Keep the container tightly closed. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature, away from heat and light. TO CLEAR UP YOUR INFECTION COMPLETELY, continue using this medicine for the full course of treatment even if you feel better in a few days. Do not miss any doses. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE, use it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule.

Otobiotic Cautions:
If your symptoms do not improve within a few days or if they become worse, check with your doctor. DO NOT USE THIS MEDICINE for more than 10 days unless directed by your doctor. DO NOT USE THIS MEDICINE for future ear problems without checking with your doctor. DO NOT GET THIS MEDICINE in your eyes. If this medicine gets in your eyes, immediately flush them with cool tap water. FOR WOMEN: IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. IT IS UNKNOWN IF THIS MEDICINE IS EXCRETED in breast milk. IF YOU ARE OR WILL BE BREAST-FEEDING while you are using this medicine, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.

Possible Side Effects of Otobiotic:
NO COMMON SIDE EFFECTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED with the proper use of this medicine. CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience skin rash, itching, burning, redness, or swelling. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
