Common Uses of Gel-Kam:
This medicine is a mineral applied to teeth to prevent decay. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor or dentist.
How To Use Gel-Kam:
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor or dentist. Add the solution to the 1/8 fluid ounce mark in the mixing vial. Add water to the 1 ounce mark and mix. After the regular brushing and flossing of your teeth, use 1/2 of the prepared solution to rinse around and between teeth for 1 minute, then spit out. DO NOT SWALLOW IT. Repeat the 1 minute treatment with the remaining solution and spit out. If you are using a home irrigator, prepare 1 ounce of solution as described above. Pour into irrigator reservoir and add 4 more ounces of water. Mix thoroughly. Use as directed. Do not eat, drink, or rinse mouth for 30 minutes after using this medicine. For best results, use this medicine after brushing and flossing, just prior to going to sleep. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature, away from heat and light. IF YOU MISS TAKING A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE and you are using it regularly, there is no cause for concern. Skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule.

DO NOT SWALLOW THIS MEDICINE. AVOID CONTACT OF THIS MEDICINE with fabrics or metals. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED DOSE without checking with your doctor or dentist.

NO COMMON SIDE EFFECTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED with the proper use of this medicine. If you notice any unusual effects, contact your doctor, dentist, nurse, or pharmacist. Notify your doctor or dentist if your teeth become discolored.
