Common Uses of Ergomar:
This medicine is an ergot alkaloid used to prevent and treat migraine headaches. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

How To Use Ergomar:
Follow the directions for using this medicine provided by your doctor. BEGIN USING THIS MEDICINE at the first sign of an attack. TO USE SUBLINGUAL TABLETS: do not swallow, crush, or chew the tablet. Place the tablet under your tongue. Allow the tablet to slowly dissolve. Do not eat, drink, or smoke while the tablet is dissolving. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED DOSE without checking with your doctor. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature in a tightly-closed container, away from heat and light.

Ergomar Cautions:
IF YOUR SYMPTOMS DO NOT IMPROVE or if they become worse, check with your doctor. FOR WOMEN: DO NOT USE THIS MEDICINE if you are pregnant. IF YOU SUSPECT THAT YOU COULD BE PREGNANT, contact your doctor immediately. THIS MEDICINE IS EXCRETED IN BREAST MILK. DO NOT BREAST-FEED while taking this medicine.

Possible Side Effects of Ergomar:
SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during treatment, include nausea, vomiting, weakness of the legs, or arm or leg pain. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY if you experience numbness or tingling of your fingers or toes, chest pain, change in heart rate, bluish discoloration of the fingers and toes, or itching. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
